The cars and stars of the Les Entreprises MP Roy Inc Pro Late Model Series continued their Virginia tour as they stopped at the famed South Boston Speedway Thursday night. 26 cars signed in to do battle for the Brian Rogers Motorsports 100 which saw Justin Fuller sit on the NHR Pole. Fuller jumped out to an early lead with Brandon Oddo close in tow when the first yellow would come out on lap 40. A late restart saw Brandon Oddo get under the Atomic Signworks Toyota of Fuller. They would make contact off turn 4 which put Fuller into the outside wall. Fuller would rebound and end up third. Oddo would go onto win followed by Nicklas Rasmussen, Justin Fuller, Stefan Marinak and Nein Shiza Autosport Rookie of the Race Jason Stehney round out the top five. Erik Haag was the HAAG TV Hard Charger Award winner (18th to 10th).
Next week the series heads to the famed paperclip of Martinsville Speedway for the Kingsport Tire and Auto Center 125. Nicklas Rasmussen leads the points standings by a slim 7 points over Justin Fuller. The battle for the 12th points spot is heated as after Martinsville the top 12 will be guaranteed starters in the inaugural Les Entreprises MP Roy All-Star Race. AJ Bunch holds onto 12th place by a slim 6 points over Alex Orians who is 13th in points.
