The Upstate Racing League ran at South Boston Speedway for a test race with some new ideas being played out. Dante Curtis started on pole and would pull away from the field as he was in another zip code. The race went green for the first 89 laps until Justin Fuller would go around bringing out the first yellow. On the restart Brian Rogers would jump out to the lead and Josh Kotten would make contact with Curtis sending him up the track. The next corner Curtis returned the favor to Kotten in turn sending the Perry Plumbing & Heating car into Rogers. Roger’s would spin and Curtis would T-Bone the spinning Rogers. That would end the race and Kotten, defending Les Enterprises MP Roy Inc Pro Late Model Series Champion, would go onto win. Curtis would cross the line in second followed by AJ Bunch, Danny Dubuque and Paul Fugate rounding out the top 5.
